"The problem is that the alternator is not charging the battery. It may be that there is a problem in the alternator prohibiting generation of enough electricity or not allowing enough electricity to pass through to the battery to charge it while the engine operates. Or, it can be that the voltage regulating circuitry that controls when and how much electricity is sent to the battery while the engine is running. Bring it in & let us check it out."
